A small organization where we build applications and software for language learning and teaching. And by “we”, I mean me…it is that small at the moment. This is a passion project and I hope at least some of what I’m making reaches others.

Parlanchín is the umbrella under which I develop apps, APIs, and tools designed to make language learning more effective (and fun!). Below are a couple of the projects I’m currently working on—there’s always something new in the pipeline!

Idiom is a platform designed for motivated language learners to turn vocabulary and texts into interactive exercises. I started it back when I was just learning how to build for the web, and it has grown tremendously since then. Right now, I’m in the process of designing and building features to make it more than just a vocabulary card app.

Palabrisa is a Python API powered by NLP libraries like NLTK and SpaCy. It processes language input and helps client apps generate dynamic language learning exercises—think open-cloze, text reordering, and more! It can also provide valuable insights, such as definitions, word classes, and synonyms, making it a powerful tool for learners and educators alike.
