A small organization where we build applications and software for language learning and teaching. And by “we”, I mean me…it is that small at the moment. This is a passion project and I hope at least some of what I’m making reaches others.

Parlanchín is the umbrella under which I develop apps, APIs, and tools designed to make language learning more effective (and fun!). Below are a couple of the projects I’m currently working on—there’s always something new in the pipeline!

Idiom is a platform designed for motivated language learners to turn vocabulary and texts into interactive exercises. I started it back when I was just learning how to build for the web, and it has grown tremendously since then. Right now, I’m in the process of migrating it into a full-stack, production-ready application.

Palabrisa is a Python API powered by NLP libraries like NLTK and SpaCy. It processes language input and helps client apps generate dynamic language learning exercises—think open-cloze, text reordering, and more! It can also provide valuable insights, such as definitions, word classes, and synonyms, making it a powerful tool for learners and educators alike.
